DESCRIPTION:Tales of the Red River is a Métis Arts & Culture Day designed to immerse you in the rich heritage of the Métis people\, with a focus on the fur trade era\, bison hunt\, traditional arts\, and storytelling. Set in an engaging outdoor environment\, this event will feature interactive\, educational experiences rooted in Métis culture\, bringing history to life through demonstrations\, workshops\, performances\, and meaningful dialogue centered around Truth and Reconciliation.\n\n\n\n\n\nFood and supplies for hands on workshops will be available for purchase. Pick your activity and add it to the cart.\n\n\n\nCost: $22 per person\, 5 and under is Free\n\n\n8:45 am              Bus arrives (Heartland Travel & Tours have graciously donated bus transportation from Winnipeg. Thank you Heartland!) \n9:00 am              Opening ceremonies \n9:15 am              Métis Market opens (Carefully curated Métis entrepreneurs will be demonstrating and selling their craft through the day.) \n9:30 am             Beading activity* (Add to your shopping cart a beading experience with Borealis Beading for $12. This covers supplies.) \n*** Remember to visit the Métis market. \n10:45 am          Red River Cart presentation* (Add to your shopping cart the Red River Cart presentation for $5.) \n11:30 am           Lunch* Métis inspired menu will be up soon. \n\n\n\n*** Remember to visit the Métis market. \n1:30 pm             Finger Weaving activity* (Add to your shopping cart Finger Weaving with Florence Beaudry for $12.
