DESCRIPTION:Anyone who has met Michel knows his passion for food. It started with an idea\, then he built Rusty\, our wood-fired oven and created wood-fired pizza nights. Now we’re inviting guests to join us around our family table for a Métis Kitchen Party\, our new culinary experience. \nExperience the fun of a traditional Métis Kitchen Party at Moon Gate! With seasonal feasts\, live music\, dancing\, and our famous wood-fired pizza\, these events bring culture and community to life. The culinary theme will work with the rhythm of the season and on occasion we’ll invite performers to entertain\, because what’s a kitchen party without music and dancing?! \nJoin us for themed menus throughout the year. \n\nMétis Kitchen Party – April 18 \nJoin us on Saturday\, April 18 for another Métis Kitchen Party! \nThis time we’re celebrating Mexican style. The Métis Kitchen Party goes to Mexico this spring with a Mexican feast! \nWe love Mexico\, the culture\, climate\, people\, music and the food. So much so that we want to bring the vibe to Moon Gate for an evening filled with Mexican music\, food\, and dancing with a Metis twist…or jig. \n \nMichel and Jenny at La Chata in Guadalajara in 2024. \nThey’ve been open since 1942. \n  \nMENU \n-Two rabbit empanadas made fresh \n-Refried beans\, the way they should taste \n-Two corn tacos with chorizo and our own chicken\, served with lettuce\, sour cream\, cilantro\, limes \n-Mexican rice \n-Pico de gallo\, made fresh \n-Salsa verde\, made from tomatillos from our garden \n-Guacamole\, made fresh \n-Nacho chips \n-Tres leches cake with whip cream and fruit \n-Mexican inspired mock-tails \n-Coffee \n✨ Great food. Good company.
