Tales of the Red River is a Métis Arts & Culture Day designed to immerse the public in the rich heritage of the Métis people, with a focus on the fur trade era, bison hunt, traditional arts, and storytelling. Set in an engaging outdoor environment, this event will feature interactive, educational experiences rooted in Métis culture, bringing history to life through demonstrations, workshops, performances, and meaningful dialogue centered around Truth and Reconciliation.
There will be three stations set up throughout the day where you will rotate through them, giving you a chance to experience everything. The knowledge keepers can accommodate about 15 guests at each station.
