“We recently stayed at Moon Gate because we received the gift from our children and grandchildren. The attention we received was amazing. The accommodations were A+ as well as the attention we received during our stay. We had a lovely room, the breakfast which Jenny prepared for us was lovely. The Reiki sessions we both received were very soothing, done with a soft touch of the hands. The view of the river was amazing with chairs to sit on or go for a nice swim.

All in all, we would recommend this retreat to anyone who asks. We would certainly stay again.”

“I recently had the opportunity to stay at Moongate B and B with friends. We were fortunate to have the place to ourselves. The beds were great, the food amazing and our hosts went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and fun!

The space lends itself to total relaxation and the sights they suggested to visit were great. Also, there is a great restaurant close by for meals as well. We had full use of the kitchen for dinner and also a BBQ to use as well. I loved the scenery, the great little gazebo near the river and my lessons in the local flora and fauna. I know my friends really enjoyed their time as well.

From the warm ambience, the homey feel of happy house plants, the attention to detail in the cozy bedrooms, and the well appointed kitchen, all of our needs were met. There was so much room to move around the main area- for group dance, yoga, massage, and singing. The views from the large windows were breathtaking. I can’t wait to return when the roundhouse is complete and I certainly look forward to attending a sweat lodge.

“I had the pleasure of experiencing a ‘Girl’s Getaway’ weekend at Moon Gate B&B with my mom, sister and daughter. We enjoyed every moment there and shared great conversations, laughs and the warm hospitality of our hosts Jenny and Michel and their family. We made pizza together, each had a relaxing spa treatment, sat around a fire in the evening, watched a thunderstorm from the gazebo, were treated to wonderful breakfasts and went on a canoe trip on the Pinawa Channel with Wild Harmony Canoe Adventures. This B&B is worth the trip…lots of love has gone into creating this relaxing and peaceful space located next to the sound of running water from the Whitemouth River. We hope to return again soon!”

I went for a one night stay for my anniversary this September and had the most amazing, peaceful getaway at a really excellent price. “Well, this place I stumbled upon when I was sent down to install potable water lines into Elma, a little town south of the Moon Gate B&B. I stayed here from the end of August to almost the end of October. Although I am a person who likes the amenities of life ( TV, Internet Etc ) of which this place did not have, I managed to survive and actually started reading books again and enjoying my surroundings, this place did this for me. Jenny and Michel are great cooks and fed me very well. I kinda think they treated me special because I stayed for so long. It was not far from my work and I just loved it, I would surely recommend this stay to anyone and believe me you will NOT be disappointed.
