Connect with what matters most at Moon Gate

Experience a highly calming space where you can disconnect from the busy world and reconnect with yourself and Mother Earth.

We offer a soul nurturing space located on the banks of the meandering Whitemouth River, in southeastern Manitoba. Proudly Indigenous (Métis) owned, Moon Gate is an eco-friendly, year-round guest house and cultural experience facilitator. We aim to provide you with a place to grow, heal, and reconnect with yourself and loved ones. Come be inspired, experience the magic and timelessness of the land and our culture, and flow with peace like the strong Whitemouth River.

We acknowledge that Moon Gate is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, Dene and Métis people. Moon Gate is located one hour east of Winnipeg, accessible, yet remote from your everyday life. A sanctuary from technology, cell phones, and constant connectivity. Disconnect from your busy world with us for a few days to connect with nature and with what really matters most to you.

Our Rooms

Moon Gate has been sustainably created for your best retreat experience. Out of respect for Mother Earth, we chose geothermal heating and cooling and supplement with solar power. Moon Gate is wheelchair accessible with all amenities on the same level. The TV and WiFi free guest house offers a space free of electromagnetic frequencies that are harmful to our bodies and nature. Our smaller footprint will give you peace of mind with no emissions into the environment. Feel the difference after just one night.

Each room night in the main guest house includes a self catered breakfast that you prepare at your leisure. We provide you with wood-fired sourdough made right here, fresh eggs, home made jams, locally roasted coffee, butter, fruit, tea, milk, cream, oatmeal, and cereal. It’s always a good morning at Moon Gate.
