Tales of the Red River Métis Arts & Culture Day 2026

Tales of the Red River is a Métis Arts & Culture Day designed to immerse you in the rich heritage of the Métis people, with a focus on the fur trade era, bison hunt, traditional arts, and storytelling. Set in an engaging outdoor environment, this event will feature interactive, educational experiences rooted in Métis culture, bringing history to life through demonstrations, workshops, performances, and meaningful dialogue centred around Truth and Reconciliation.

Complimentary Shuttle Service from The Forks is provided by Heartland Travel.

Food and supplies for hands-on workshops will be available for purchase. Pick your activity and add it to the cart.

Entrance fee: $22 per person; 5 and under is Free
