Michel smiling in the Round House

Get a glimpse of what it was like for voyageurs to traverse the land by snowshoe on the Whitemouth River in Treaty 3.

While exploring on snowshoe, your guide, Michel, will share history of the Métis, telling stories of growing up in Northern Manitoba. You’ll be invited to get cozy around the fire to cook bannock and drink wild harvested tea from the Agassiz Forest. Later, Michel will prepare a traditional Métis feast. Before bed, you can heat things up in the 90-degree sauna to sooth your body, mind, and spirit.

Awake to locally roasted coffee brewing, wild tea, fresh farm eggs, wood-fired sourdough, and hand crafted jam before you head out for the day.

Dress for the weather.
