Winter Soulstice Celebration 2025
December 20 @ 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Winter Solstice is a day of equilibrium between light and darkness, that liminal space where we celebrate the gradual return of daylight as the days grow longer. We invite you to join us for this special day of lively conversations, music, food, dancing, and a special art project that symbolizes the light returning. This event holds significance in various cultures across the globe and is often cherished even more than Christmas.
Within our family and community, the Winter Solstice starts with a cleansing smudge and sharing circle. This is a time to share your dreams or release what no longer serves you. This celebration is observed without alcohol, and an inclusive gathering suitable for all ages. We invite you to join us for this special day of lively conversations, music, food, dancing, and a special art project that symbolizes the light returning.
The event is FREE, but please bring a dish to share and non-alcoholic beverage. Rooms are available for those coming from afar with a special Solstice rate. Contact Jenny at moongateguesthouse@gmail.com to enquire.
